Hey @Gargron, I have a minor UX complaint: the Avatar and Header fields on the "Edit profile" page are flipped from their placement on the left, so they're visually associated with the wrong thing.
Something that irks me about the meta events on recent GW2 maps (like Palawadan & Thunderhead Keep) is the forced reset that effectively locks you out of the area after the event chain ends. Older maps (like Orr) usually have a "Defend X" phase that lets players hold the contested area open. Between the forced resets/evictions and the Fury of the Brandstorm, some areas in PoF and LWS4 are... extremely tedious.
blocking ads is evil grr
HTTP is a pull-based medium. it is within the original philosophy of HTTP to selectively pull the data, for example, a device that doesn't support images won't download them. by circumventing ad "blocking", you are spitting in the face of HTTP. a more accurate term would be ad rejection. ads are not "blocked", they are simply not asked for.
gw2 all or nothing spoilers, meta
I really have to give Anet props for just how well they played us with this patch. In their big "6 years of GW2" vid, they majorly talked up LW and how we shouldn't have to wait for an expansion to do something epic (like, say, kill an elder dragon). Then Ep5 comes out and it's all "let's kill Kralkatorrik", and it seems like it's totally gonna work, we're actually gonna kill an elder dragon in a LW release just like they implied.
And then... we don't.
